SAI performs its audit works and the detected corruption offences and financial violations by investigating such incidents and determine the responsibly thereon, then recommends to sign the disciplinary penalties. These are in addition to refer the corruption offences involved in the financial violation- if any- to the federal public prosecution to perform its competencies in this regard without prejudice to the disciplinary penalty. Furthermore, SAI takes all precautionary measures in order to perform its competencies in the financial violations and combating corruption to preserve the public fund in coordination with the competent entities. Al employees of the audittees are financially responsible of their acts related to the funds subject to audit.​
