coincidence with the close issuance of 8th session
of the Conference of State Parties to UN Convention against Corruption, The
contest of “Youth Hackathon to fight corruption” has launched from 24-26
November 2019 in Zayed University- Dubai, with participation of UAE’s
universities students. The contest aims at enabling Youth to create and design
methods and innovative tools and invest their creative minds besides installing
the spirit of teamwork and enhancing cooperation with the governmental efforts
to fight corruption globally.
Hackathon organized by UAE SAI and in cooperation with its strategic partners
represented by Federal Youth Authority, Ministry of Education,
Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, and National Program for Artificial
Intelligence. The organizing committee opened the participation of the students
and invited them to visit the contest’s website and find its challenges and awards.
Dr. Harib Saeed Al Amimi, President of SAI, assured the necessity of youth
engagement and encouraging them to be an effective part in the UAE community.
This is in addition to empowering them to use the artificial intelligence
techniques in which enables to improve the means and methods that enhances the
international cooperation to fight all types of corruption and achieve the wise
leadership aspiration, as well as, keeping up with the prompt developments in
the other hands, the adjudication of the final projects and announcement of the
top three winners, in addition to attendance of Youth Cycle that shed lights on
empowering youth to fight corruption will be held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) on 14 December
2019, which are as side events of Conference of State Parties to UN Convention
