Media Registration is Now Open to attend the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption

Under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, SAI announced that the media registration is now open to attend the 8th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which will take place at ADNEC from 14th-20th December, in Abu Dhabi. This conference considered the biggest international gathering concerned on discussing issues related to anti-corruption. The concerned bodies on anti-corruption, SAIs, law enforcement authorities, international organizations and civil community representatives will participate in this event.

For the first time, this session will witness an international initiative launched by UAE SAI, which aims to expand cooperation in the field of anti-corruption between SAIs and anti-corruption bodies. This session includes seminars, workshops and number of preliminary meetings and special initiatives aim to harness youth capacities to address corruption acts in order to benefit from the participants' capacities and those who are interested in detecting and preventing corruption's crimes. Furthermore, discussing the latest developments of work and raising awareness level on anti-corruption in coordination with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in its capacity as acting Secretariat of the Conference.
